Justine Cohen-Silver
Dr. Justine Cohen-Silver is a pediatrician with a focus in outreach. She completed medical school and a pediatric residency at the University of Toronto following a master’s degree in Biostatistics at the University of Toronto. Dr. Cohen-Silver then completed a postgraduate fellowship in academic pediatrics with a focus in urban health at St. Michael’s Hospital. Simultaneously, she completed a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus in health promotion. Dr. Cohen-Silver practices as a consultant in general pediatrics at St. Joseph Health Centre and St. Michael’s Hospital as well the Hospital for Sick Children Emergency Department. Dr. Cohen-Silver is a researcher at St. Joseph’s and St. Michael’s Hospitals with a focus in social determinants of health. She is the research lead of the St. Joseph Health Centre Paediatric Department. Justine has had the privilege of joining the Malachy’s Soiree Committee in 2017 and is excited to continue to be a part of this amazing event and team in 2018. Justine says, “Given my medical experience I am well aware the vast impact this type of fundraising is facilitating at the St. Michael’s Hospital NICU. So proud to be a part of this important event.”
